I got this radio from Bob Zinn on June 1, 2017.  Included with the radio were many papers documenting the problems he had early on.
Even though he lived in North Texas at the time, he bought the radio from Douglas Electronics here in Corpus Christi.
I remember being in Bob Douglas' office several times when he was talking to Signal One about delays in getting this radio.
Then there are later papers documenting the problems with this radio.  And there were many.
I will scan all the documents when I have time and post them here.

I went through this radio and removed all the unnecessary mods and restored normal configuration.  The radio had a few problems and was very dirty.
It had been cleaned and repaired and works great except for one problem.  There is a "clicking" sound in RX audio.  
Probably being caused by an arc somewhere.  I didn't find it and left it for some time in the future.
